WWTI is very tough to get consistently even on analog at 1 million watts on channel 50. I lived on the 7th floor apartment on Meadowlands near Fisher and I built a 3 foot long yagi specifically for channel aimed at Watertown to pick it up. At night, especially in the summer, and in the early first few hours of the morning reception was static free, however during the day in bad propagation the image was strong enough to always stay in color but clearly multipathing and fuzzing in and out with tropospheric activity. I was using a very low noise preamp 7775 - forget the model name I think Channelmaster - designed for UHF TV. I could always get channel 57 (Saranac Lake - NY) and channel 18 (both PBS) no problem all the time no static with other antennas that I built and the same pre-amp..
