Please post future questions to the SNL Support Thread in this forum.

Adding a List, Disc, and Artist

SNL is pretty intuitive but the Dialogs contain tremendous amounts of information and may at first, appear overwhelming.

From the main screen simply by choose 'Lists' and then click the 'Add List' button on the resulting dialog to add List. Name the list "CD's". Take the default settings on everything else. Press 'OK'

Next, select(left-click) the "CD's" list from the tree view.

Choose 'Add Disc' and respond to the resulting 'Add Disc' dialog by providing the following:

Disc Name -> Back in Black
Short Name - > Back in Black
Sort As Name - > Back in Black

Player - > Name of player you defined (CDPlayer-1)
Disc Number -> Slot # in CDPlayer-1 where Back in Black is located (324)
Folder Number -> (0) unless this is an MP3 disc.

Before you can close this dialog, you must assign an Artist for the disc. This can be done using the drop-down or by creating a new artist. Create a new artist as follows:

Click the 'Add' button to add an artist.

Name -> AC/DC
Short Name -> AC/DC
Sort As Name -> AC/DC

Click 'OK' to dismiss the Add Artist Dialog.

From the Add Disc dialog, click 'Add' followed by 'Close'.

Once the Add Disc dialog disappears, you should now see your List with AC/DC as an artist and "Back In Black" as a disc.

Using SNL for the TSU3000/7000 Remotes

Per Anthony's response, SNL is not directly supported as of yet on these remotes.

A newer version than 2.0.0.4 of SNL is required that supports generating screens in the 240x253 size required by the 3000/7000 remotes. The term used for this version is 'migration' mode where an RC9200 CCF is used to generate screens compatible with TSU3000, TSU7000, and NetRemote.

In short, you will need to use an RC9200 CCF as your 'input' CCF containing only devices with buttions containing IR data for use by SuperNudelist players.

You will then run SNL and generate a 2nd or 'output' CCF. You then import this 2nd CCF into PENG and save as PCF. You can then merge this PCF into your current PCF.

For more information, please see "So You Want SuperNudelist for the 3000/7000" in the Pronto NG forum for explicit details on using SNL with 3000/7000 remotes in a 'migration' mode.

Lyndel
