Its called RC-5 and its a pretty common way to do remote codes. It effectively eleminates the chance of accidentally duplicating codes. Since your posting this in a pronto forum, I'll assume your using a pronto. They nativley speak RC-5. Call Tag and get the RC5 codes and plug them into ProntoEdit.
