Robert:
I still have a question or two. I've investigated preliminarily the relative cost for an amplified signal bridge, and it seems prohibitive, since I'm not really going whole hog on this.
What I don't understand is why the transceiver, placed in one of the bedrooms, controls all the lamp modules completely (without a 220V device running), yet the IR 543, will only control the lights in the Great Room?
It seems to me that this would indicate that I don't need a signal bridge, but that the transceiver is putting out a strong enough signal and the IR 543 is not. Does that make sense?
I also turned off all devices (TV/AMP etc, and tried the bedrooms etc from the IR 543, and no luck.
Is this a signal level problem, or noise? Is there a device to boost the x10 signal coming out of the IR 543?
Please educate me further.
Tnaks,
Tim
