Once again, I don't quite think you are following me.

Statement 1) All dim and bright hex codes ARE different for each device code (came from quick-x10 file)

Statement 2) No matter what the previous state of the system(meaning which device was last issued a command) if I hit the dim button for device 3, that device and ONLY that device dims. Then if I immediately hit the dim for device 4, device 4 dims, not device 3 as would be expected if the codes were not device specific.

Am I missing something here?? As far as I can tell, all of my dim and bright buttons are device code specific and have ALWAYS operated that way. I can actually use my brightness button as a discrete on because no matter what, if I touch the brightness button for a specific device, THAT device comes on and NO others.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong but everything points to this conclusion.
