I am a home automation consultant, installer, and product supplier with over 10 years of experience in home automation. Many other companies may offer home automation services, but not as their main business. I can help you select the right products for your application, supply you with the
products, and offer continuing technical support with your system. Many other retailers will simply sell you the product, and then its up to you to figure out how to install it and operate it. I see posts from many frustrated people that can't get their products to do what they expected them to do. For example, the PCS switches have many programmable functions
(as described in the Remote Central post), but PCS does not supply a programming manual with the products. Since I am an authorized PCS dealer,
I can supply you with the documentation you need and provide you with help if you need it. I am also able to get quick manufacturer support from PCS if necessary.

The PCS multi-module is what you described. It doesn't function like a typical X-10 lamp module because a typical X-10 lamp module doesn't have any of the programmable features that the multi-module has. The multi-module has all the programmable features that the PCS switches have. If you use the PCS switches for lighting scenes, using a multi-module is the only way to get a plug-in lamp to become part of the lighting scene.

Since these modules function like two PCS wall switches, the pricing of this product is about equivalent to two PCS wall switches.
