Egghead.com has been repeatedly auctioning off IBM home control starter kits. I got my first for $13 and I've just bid on two more for $12 each. They have 1000 to get rid of this time so $12 should assure you one. Why do I want 2 more, you ask? Great Christmas Presents. Both my and my wife's parents will LOVE the single remote control it gives them over their TV room lights and their TV and VCRs. I got a 6-pack of lamp modules from smarthome.com for $5 each and I'll add 3 each to their gifts. That should keep then in control and happy, and it's a gift I'm sure they don't already have and will find very useful.
