Now that I have answered so many questions, I need some help of my own...

I got a hawkeye and an RF transciever module from X10. I have them work together properly except for two things.

I don't want the hawkeye to do anything regarding, light versus dark ONLY motion. I tried opening up the Hawkeye and covering the light sensor but somehow it was still sensing.

Can I cut this sensor out or do I have to short the two leads together? Basically, how can I stop it from sending signals to the n+1 unit code?

Also on the rf transciever. It seems to be hard set to respond to unit code 1. Unfortunately what I really want programmed to code 1 is a lamp dimmer module. Is there any way to make this transciever stop responding to unit code 1 ons/offs?
