I am using a Marantz RC5000 1Mb (Setup V2.3, Sys V4.8, App V5.1) and have just updated to Win XP SP1. I was previously using ME OK.
Now I cannot get my remote to talk to my PC at all, via serial COM1 or using my serial to PDA USB, (I read elsewhere that people are having trouble with serial to USB connectors). Does anyone have any ideas?
I usually run an infrared device on COM1 and think I have managed to tell XP not to run this.
