I thought it was a great idea to have motion detectors outside my home to announce the arrival of guests by having remote chimes throughout the house. But if my wife or I are lounging outside, the home chimes repeatedly. Not good. How can I overcome this?
I've just ordered Active Home. Will that help? Can I catch the remote sensor signals, sound the chimes once, then keep checking the sensors and only sound the chimes again if there's no movement after repeated checking for say fifteen minutes?
I want the chimes to announce a visitor, but not to constantly chime I we're sitting on the front or back porch visiting. Any suggestions?
