I have a lamp and appliance module (not sure which to use) for Xmas lights on my tree. I have roughly 600 lights (minis). I have 2 sets of 3 light sets plugged into each other, each with an extension cord into a power strip. Is it ok to just plug the power strip into the lamp/appliance module? I figured as long as the wattage is less than the module can handle, I should be ok.

Today is the first day of X-10 for me (bought the starter kit from X10.com with the Acitve Home software). This stuff is awesome. I can't wait to get more modules.
