I'm an X-10 novice and need to better understand if filtering is needed in my system. I have installed two Switchlink 3-way (master/slave) circuits and one wall module in a dedicated home theater. I'm controling via. IR with a Pronto TSU-3000 and an 543 IR/X-10 controller. For now, this is all the X-10 I want or need.

Here's my deal: at first, the switches would not respond to commands. Later, I unplugged my AV rig and one of the two worked. Then, I moved my controller to a different outlet and the lights worked, but the wall module didn't.

Think I may need filtering, but here are my questions:
1. What product would be appropriate for a fix?
2. Do I install a filter on my X-10 controller or on offending equipment (projector, AV rack)?
3. Do I need to be concerned only filtering in this room/circuit, or do I need to go around the house filtering TV's, computers and other possible culprits?

Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions!
-Paul
