Hi, I am new to X10 and like to know where to start.
So far I have HIA omni automation sec. processor with X-10 lighting interface. This was put in with an advice of a friend when the home was being built.
Now, 2yrs later I am builting a HT in the basement. The X-10 interface is in the basement. I just had a seperate 20amp circuit put in for the HT. I don't no if the X-10 interface will recoganize that or not. I would like to control the lights, equipment, and the rope lights which will be pluged in an outlet with no switch.

I have read few posts in regards to this topic. SO would I need IR543,LM456 for my rope lights, wall switches that have dimming ability and of course a remote.

Does this sound right?
