The ProntoNG remotes can control all sorts of RF devices directly providing you know the codes and the device you want to control uses the same frequency as built into your remote.

Here in Europe most of our RF devices use 433MHz and so do the ProntoNG remotes. I use mine to control lights, blinds and sockets with HomeEasy products.
