I recently purchased an IRLinc, and I have a question about using it with my URC MX-900 remote. The IRLinc came with its own credit card remote. When you link one of the scene buttons on the credit card remote to an Insteon device, you can use the scene up/scene down buttons to control the device. They basically become discrete on and off commands. Press the up arrow, and the device turns on. Press the down arrow, and it turns off. I am wondering if there is any way to accomplish the same thing using my own compatible NEC codes. I've been able to successfully link the NEC codes to my Insteon devices, but I can only get them to act as toggle commands. Press it once, and the device turns on. Press it a second time, and the device turns off. Is there something I'm missing?
