WRONG!
Low voltage wiring is NOT required to be UL approved! Speaker wire falls under this catagory. My father-in-law is with State Farm Insurance and after asking him, his response was: "there is NO way an insurance company will deny your claim as long as the wire is used in a low voltage situation such as speaker wire"
