I listened to and compared a Sunfire to a Krell system (processor & amp) when looking for my own home theater system. The Krell system (I don't remember the model numbers) did sound better but it cost $10,000, about twice what the Sunfire system did, at a local store. I ended up going with the Sunfire Theater Grand Processor and Cinema Grand Signature Edition Amplifier (405W/channel into 8 ohms, 5 chanels) and am very pleased with them. You can probably do better on price searching on the net but for the cost I wanted the piece of mind in dealing with real people if you know what I mean. Either system will do everything you want.
