Why not use a speaker selector switch to accomplish this? Just reverse the way it is hooked up. Use the speaker outputs on the selector as your inputs and your input on the selector as your output! You may want to make some labels to go on the front of the selector switch, so you'll know which button to press. Then, you can "select" what mode you want and how the speakers are connected.
