My receiver has all kinds of DSP modes, but the function I really wish I had is being able to send the same signal from the front speakers to the rear surround speakers as well. (To be used when playing CDs.) I can plug the rear speakers to the 'B' speaker outputs and set the reciver to A+B but then I would have to reconnect them when playing a DVD in order to get 5.1.
I was wondering if it would hurt my receiver or the speakers if I bridged the surround outputs to the 'B' speaker outputs. I tried an A/B switcher but suffered too much signal loss since it was working in reverse.
Thanks for any response. Mike Kelly
