I too have Monitor 7 V2 for my front and Mini monitor for rears.

When I went to shop for speakers, I generally found that Paradigm provided the best sounding speaker at my price range.

Do they make the best sounding speakers? No, but for the money, they are really hard to beat.

I also have the Yamaha RXV800 receiver, and it drives the paradigm without any problems.

But with any audio equipment, you defintely have to test drive first before you buy. Some store will even let you bring speakers home to test them.
