Right now I'm saving my money for a 7.1 receiver or seperates. So I'm not going to waste my money on a receiver that does just about all the same things my Marantz does. (I hate the Yammy remotes anyway, Pain in the ass to program into my rc5000) As far as S-Video versus Component. I set up my DVD with component imputs and used the AVIA DVD. One day I was bored and wanted to see the differance between Component and S-Video and I found the S-video was to bright even when the brightness was turned all the way down. Everything looked overexposed. So when I got my x-box I decided to go with the High Def cables so I wouldn't have that problem. So of course Sony thought that I would only need one Component input on my WEGA so I had to find a multi switch. So I posted here go my answer and solution, and it works great.
