Monster and Niles both make outlet strips with switchable outlets on them. I have two Bryston Amps that I turn on and of that way. My Denon AVR-3300 does not have a 12V trigger so I plugged a little radio shack 12 volt transformer into the switched AC outlet on the back of the unit and I use that to trigger the Outlet strip.
