Thanks for everyone's replies. I know very little about remotes, so I really appreciate the help.

Apparently, I can order the remote for the DSP-A1 for $150 from Yamaha. I'm working with budget constraints (having really spent more than I had intended on the receiver), so I'm not prepared to spend the money for both the Yamaha receiver and a universal remote. So, I guess it comes down to choosing between the Yamaha remote and something like a $250 pronto... Having the Yamaha is nice, since I can be sure it will control all the features on the receiver. Of course, a universal remote has the cool interface, and the ability to control other parts of my system (which I'm still building btw, so I'm not 100% sure what that will look like a year from now). Anybody have any suggestions which way I should go? Thanks again! Your posts have already been a big help.
