I am a poor 27 year old struggling to support a severe case of A/V addiction, for which I have found no solution. Anyhow, have pawned my soul and am about to purchase a Mitsubishi WS-55819 rear projection monitor. Having pawned my soul, a "burnt in" NBC, or God forbid CNN logo would infuriate me to no end. I appreciate your posting this information. Would a brnt screen be covered under an extended warranty? Also, do the guns on a big screen need cleaning? The A/V store is trying to sell me a 5 year warranty that includes yearly cleaning, and I am curious as to whether or not it is worth it. It cost the same as a progressive scan DVD player...
