My 10 year old has NO problem using my MX-500. I programed it to operate the TV, sat box, DVD, VCR and reciever. She no longer wants to watch TV or the satellite with just the TV speakers. Even my wife doesn't mind using it, although it did take her longer to get the hang of it than my daughter.
