System: Mit 55857 projection tv denon receiver 3301 hdtv satellite receiver ultimate tv satellite receiver progressive dvd svhs vcr
Problem: My wife gets confused changing the video for the tv and change the audio settings. For example, hdtv satellite requires the mits DTV input and using the VDP input for digital audio.
Question: Can a remote handle changing the tv inputs to the correct video input(dtv,dvd,vcr,reg sat) and receiver to the correct audio matching the video input selected?
I am confused with the video portion since you toggle up and down to the respective video inputs. How would a remote know to change from VCR to Component 1 video inputs with the next change from VCR input to DTV input? Different toggles? Audio is straightforward. Need to sync the video/audio tasks.
