There are three things that new members need to figure out about this community:

A) there are a lot of people here that normally DO know what they're talking about - but no one's perfect;

B) most of them have an "interesting" sense of humor - just see the Intermission forum if you need further proof; and

C) although everyone does not always agree, ensuing arguements are expected to be handled in a professional and curtious manner WITHOUT name calling and bad language. 99.99% of the time, this is the case. In six years only a handful of threads have had to be closed due to degraded content.

Just sit back, relax, try to see the tone of posts rather than merely reading the words, and you'll have a good time!
