I don't have near the experience the other guys have, but what are you trying to accomplish? I get that you have a DVD player and a VOOMBox, and two screens. Do you always want the same thing on both screens? Then you have the following options:
1) Run both signals to a receiver 2) Run both signals to a switcher (componant)
Whichever one you use, coming out of that device, you can:
1) Run the signal into a D/A (distribution amp) and then feed the two screens 2) Run the signal to one screen, then loop (if the projector allows) to the other screen.
If you want to be able to watch the DVD on one screen and the VOOM box on the other, you can either:
1) DA the outputs of both boxes (if they don't have multiple outs to begin with), and run those to the screens 2) Find a router (like you suggested) that allows you to route the desired source to the desired screen.
