I am in the market for a universal remote and don’t really know #%@& about them. I have done some research and pretty much narrowed it down to the URC-300 Customizer, Pronto TSU-3000 and Logitech Harmony 680 but just when I think I have decided on one, I read a review that changes my mind. I want one remote that will control just about everything like changing from DVD drive to Hard drive in my DVD recorder and to be able to change surround fields on my receiver. Here is mainly what I am looking for: 1.Priced around $300 or less. 2.Must have cusotmizeable labels 3.Somewhat easy to program, I am not a computer genius 4.A mix of hard buttons and a touch screen is fine. 5.Good Customer support from the manufacturer
I would greatly appreciate anyone’s input on which remote would be best. Right now my #1 choice is the URC-300
