Thanks for the info I was ready to give up, what
are your feeling between the Sanyo PLC-XP50L that
already has the lens I need or going with Sanyo
PLV-70 and changing the lens out to get the distance,
I am concerened that changing the lens will defeat
the quality of th projector to get the distance
OK, they're 2 different animals.
The PLC-XP50L has been designed more for a conference room and it has a long throw lens, it has an XGA resolution of 1024X768, 3.700 ANSI Lumens which delivers a very bright picture even with all the lights on in the room. It sports a 1.000:1 contrast ration but it's aspect ratio is a regular 4:3
On the other hand the PLV-70 is designed more for a media room with a 16:9 aspect ratio, DVI port, XGA 13.66X768 resolution and 2.200 lumens with a contrast ratio of 900:1 which is pretty decent also.
