I have a Denon 884 receiver and I have a pair
of in cealing speakers with a impeadience matching
volume control. When I have one source playing
I hear the other for zone 2. For example when
I am watching a DVD with surround sound on zone
1 I can also hear (not at the same volume) the
tuner which is playing on zone 2. I think that
it donsn't have enought power but the place I
bought it from said that I could even hook up
6 speakers thought out the house. I cannot even
turn the volume on the receiver up for zone 2
all the way, otherwise the when I go in the room
where the volume controll unit is and turn it
up the receiver turns off. Do I need to get a
separte amp? Why do I hear zone 1 and 2 bleading
together and interfearing with eachother?
Thanks

I have had the same issue with NAD receivers, when using the internal amp ( zone 2 output to surround back input, no longer allows for 7.1 HT and forces 5.1HT) I have come to determine that the bleeding is coming from too high of an output of the zone 2 out to the surround back input and the signal is just jumping across the board (which was probably designed to take in a 2V max signal in , and is now seeing a much higher input voltage from the zone 2 output ) so I would say you could either turndown the output for your second zone to see if the problem goes away or add another source of power (amp, integrated amp, receiver).

good luck
