I had the screens go bad on two RTI Remotes and I have Never received the replacements. AVAD sent me two MX800's instead. I had to then program two MX800's in there place. Their software is great, they had some troubles early on with their screens, they still do on the T2, I have no clue about the T2+. Originally I really liked the RTI T2, but do to reliability issues we change back to the MX800 and MX3000. When coupled withthe IRF6 the T2 had awesome RF capability and range while also allowing the remote to send out IR commands and the IRF6 sending out RS232 commands. Cool remote just wish they had better screens. We have never had a bad HTM product, but hteir tech suuport is great and so is their IR Code library.
