I also use a ton of the HTM products, but comparing the 3000 to the T2+ I gotta choose RTI. My main reason is ease of use. I like to "mack out" on the couch and have one handed control over everything. Once you're used to it you'll hardly ever have to look at the screen. Both systems are easily programmed. You should get one of each, program them, play with them and see for yourself.
