try this:
1 press dvd on the remote to select the dvd input.
2 play 5.1 disc in thx cinema mode.
3 press source select button up (labeled button 7 in the manual page 6)
4 slide down cover (26)
5 press cursor buttons up/down left right (27)
amp should now be locked and the only way to reset it is to switch the mains off at the plug
