I do not find anything about this on page 32 of the RX-V2400U manual (is the ...RDS different?) located at

so I was wondering if you could locate the problematic process in the manual on the site and tell me where it is. I have a few clients with the 2400 and I always like to be able to know before their late-night phone call if yanking the power cord out of the wall is the solution of the moment!

A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
