I just got my long awaited Harmony 688 for Xmas and was eager to set it up. Everything went fine until I realized that it wasn't controlling the receiver.

My factory Kenwood remote (RC-R0911) won't control the receiver without the RF antenna installed.

Does anyone know if the VR-4090 can function IR only? Or is my receiver broken?
