What do some of you suggest doing in the case where the customer wants you to design a theater for them, including CAD drawings and the whole works. I am not talking about the equipment, I am strictly speaking of the actual room Design, with platforms, columns, acoustic treaments, sconces, chairs, etc. We do not have anyway of doing CAD type drawings. We have worked with Interior Decorators and Architects in the past. Also for consultation on design what do you all typically charge, a set price or based on per hour. This is an existing customer that we designed a theater in his previous home, but this one he wants much more elaborate so the design needs to be top notch in case he needs to give dimensions on cabnitry, specs on platforms, columns etc. to his trim guy and builder. Thanks for any input that is provided. I appreciate it.
