I ALWAYS consider other people's needs. It's my job.
My "hatred" for bose came from installing bose for other people.Very unflexible, difficult to fulfill "others" desires and difficult to repair when they break ( and they WILL break!!!)
I don't consider a 'cable dongle' exceptable for component in! Maybe ok for a clock radio or jam box. HTIB's don't even require them!
As far as value,It is difficult NOT to find something 10 times better for a lot less money.
Perhaps I am biased against bose, but then, I'm just considering other peoples needs.
By the way. People DO buy products because they are expensive and well marketed!! EVERYDAY!

I don't 'dog' a product because they don't support the industry I'm involved in. However, I do dog them when they're product isn't worth 'the price of admission'!!!
Been there there, didn't care for it,never want to deal with it again!!!
