DDeca here again. Funny how we keep running into
each other...
Anyway, we had TERRIBLE problems as a Marnatz
dealer. Just this week I am sending in an SR-8200
for the second time in a year!! It smoked both
from speakers (crossovers, woofer and tweeters!)
on its way out. I cannot desbribe how much I
would stay away from Marantz.
I would definitely look at the Denon and also
check out the Integra DTR-7.4 or 8.4. These are
very nicely built receivers that sound great and
have many unique features.

From my post in the installer forum you know that I already have a Denon 3803 receiver so I was looking for another receiver to place in the bonus room and was thinking about the Denon 3805 when a local installer I was dealing with aboth the URC remotes mentioned that I should look at the Marantz receivers. He recommended the above 2 models. He mentioned that he has installed alot of those receivers and that his customers have been very pleased with the performance.
