Toby: Actually that's not quite correct. The AV2000 has "double-key" buttons for direct video input selection. So, holding down TV/VIDEO and a number key actually sends out a new signal, which happen to come pre-programmed for Sony TVs. If you wanted, you could learn other signals to those keys.
