1. Memory? Don't know the exact figure, but it can handle 10 devices. It handled all the keys of my 9 remotes. 2. Timed macros? You can't set a macro to run at a particular time but you can adjust the timing within a macro. 3. To attain an easier to use remote, you have to go to the HarmonKardon TC1000 or Philips Pronto. Most of the people who upgrade to those tend to want that extra bit of configurability or ease of use that a programmable touchscreen with PC software would allow. The only real drawbacks of those remotes is the $$$$ (we're talking almost twice as much as the RC2000Mk2) and the lack of that "hard key" feel for most buttons. 4. I've seen people buy it for about $200 shipped on the web.
