You may have something wrong with your computer configuration. The IRIQ software has never crashed for me and I have used it quite often and intensely on my desktop and notebook. You might consider making sure you have the latest drivers on your system (especially pertaining to the VXD that blows up). Also download RgeClean from Microsoft - the registry can get trashed out over time and need cleaning up. RegClean has saved my system more than once.
