PS this is the Pronto classic section and talks
about the older Prontos. with the Pronto TSU-3000
that came out around 2 years ago you would want
the Pronto NG section (next- generation)

Good point. You wouldn't want to write a full and complete report on a product that has been out of production for several years, now, would you?

The software for the NG product is available through the NG files section, and it also has an emulator that will let you see how the remote works. The software would probably look identical to you if you have not learned how to use it. There are some subtle and some large differences between the NG and OG (original generation) software. Don't bother to mess with the OG at this point, as it is only useful to someone who has an old remote.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
