i am writing a report comparing logitech's harmony to the pronto. i work at logitech at the moment on a coop term and so i know pretty much how the harmony works. however, i've been looking everywhere for info on the pronto and there's one thing i cannot understand.

i realize that if you have a device that the pronto does not already have ir codes for, you must teach those commands via the original remotes. but what if you have a philips tv for which the pronto holds commands for already? how do you indicate that on the pronto and select the proper model on it without confusion?
