i have spent all evening trying to solve this problem, the document by Barry Gordon went a bit over my head!!! i have been looking through the function codes at hifiremote.com but nothing else seems to sort this out.
could using the workaround idea do any harm? switching on then off straight away, could that do any damage?
does anyone know how helpful the manufacturers are at helping with this problem? how does everyone find these codes anyway? i have randomly tried changing some codes but i don't know what on earth I'm doing!!
any more tips would be much appreciated
