You can also get the firmware directly from Philips along with instructions on how to upgrade it.

Click on "firmware"
Click on "firmware archive"
Choose the firmware for your model
[Link: remotecontrol.philips.com]This is Sys. 4.8, App 5.3 release date Aug26, 2002. It is an executable, so I don't believe you need to upgrade prontoedit to use it -- but if you are using an older version of prontoedit, I don't know why you wouldn't want to upgrade it too.
Before you do anything, check the current firmware version on your remote
