Sometimes you can get lucky and find a VCR code that works the camcorder. If the camcorder came with a remote then you can use any learning remote.

You could add the code to the 15-1994 using JP1, but you'd still need to know what codes the camcorder uses, assuming like Mike said, that it even responds to infrared signals.
