Wouldn't a hex change that makes a code last longer
on one remote also work on another? Are all of
the people who know how to do this somehow magically
only looking at the NG forum?
If you cross-post the same question on multiple forums on one site, or at forums on more than one website, you should always include a disclaimer "cross posted on XYZ" so that people can see whether it has been answered already. It is only common curtesy to do so. Otherwise, you should post it in one place at a time.
