yeah the stop, stop, play works on only some DVD's. There a re some though that will not allow you to stop the disc onces right after you start it. I love this feature but it sucks it only works on some DVDs.

to do this:

put disc in
once it is recognized and starts playing you do the stop command two or three times then the play command immediately following. The movie should begin immediately with no menus or ads. The way it should be.
