I'm looking for a remote that has the following characteristics:

- competent learning function ... needs to control my Denon integrated amp and Onkyo CD player; the Denon probably does not show up in standard code libraries

- simple ... this is for controlling the stereo from locations throughout the house (once I get a RF repeater set up for it), so all I really want is power, volume, play/stop/pause/track skip controls, and maybe track/disk number controls. Very minimalistic is preferred in this case.

- durable ... will be moved around the house and taken outside, so should be reasonably well built.

- inexpensive ... I've got a HTM MX-500 for my theater room, and that is much more than I'm looking for in this particular remote. I don't want fancy touch screens, backlighting, macros, 10+ devices, etc., just the main buttons mentioned previously.

I could see something along the lines of a MX-200 sidekick remote, if that helps to picture what I'm envisioning.

Thanks,
Dan
